Smart #3 è la grande novità di Smart per questo 2023. La vettura festeggia il suo debutto ufficiale al Salone dell’auto di Shanghai 2023. Si tratta del primo sport utility coupé di Smart che ha rivelato le prime immagini ufficiali in attesa del debutto completo che avverrà a Shanghai nelle prossime ore. L’auto presenta la stessa filosofia di design della Smart #1. Tuttavia rispetto a questo modello offre un look sia interno che esterno ancora più da auto premium.
Tutto pronto per la World Premiere di Smart #3
Finora sono stati confermati pochi dettagli specifici sulla Smart #3, ma da quello che possiamo vedere conserva chiaramente un linguaggio di design tipico del Mercedes-Benz global design team. Ciò è esemplificato dalla carrozzeria liscia, dalle barre luminose anteriori e posteriori e dal cofano a conchiglia, elementi che hanno tutti debuttato sulla #1. I due modelli di Smart dovrebbero condividere la maggior parte dei loro elementi di propulsione e telaio, con lo sviluppo guidato principalmente da Geely. Ciò include l’uso della Sustainable Experience Architecture, o SEA, piattaforma del gruppo cinese che si trova anche nei modelli Zeekr e infine anche in quelli di Volvo.
Anche all’interno è evidente la somiglianza di questa vettura con la Smart #1. Nell’abitacolo infatti troviamo un grande schermo centrale, un display piccolo rivolto verso il guidatore, prese d’aria laterali disposte trasversalmente e una consolle centrale imponente. Notiamo comunque l’aspetto delle prese d’aria centrali rotonde, un po’ nello spirito Mercedes. Per quanto riguarda i sedili posteriori e il bagagliaio, non sono ancora visibili.
La Smart #3 dovrebbe avere dimensioni abbastanza importanti e infatti sarà lunga 4,44 m, le dimensioni di una Peugeot 3008. La Smart #3 è ovviamente una vettura elettrica al 100%, ma non sono state ancora annunciate caratteristiche ufficiali. Molto probabilmente sarà disponibile nelle versioni da 272 e 428 CV, con una batteria da 66 kWh e un’autonomia massima di 440 chilometri. Il debutto in Europa avverrà in settembre al Salone di Francoforte.
